# Edit parameters for the Monitor
## Use AoFrio's Field app to update Monitor parameters including temperature alarm setpoints.
The parameters you can edit depend on your role type.
1. Open Field app and connect via Bluetooth to a nearby Monitor.
2. Open the right-hand menu icon and select **EDIT PARAMETERS**.
3. Select the parameter type from the dropdown list, e.g. Logging.
4. Modify the parameter as needed and tap **ENTER** to complete update.

**High Temperature Alarm Setpoint**

**Low Temperature Alarm Setpoint**

| The absolute temperature above which an alarm is triggered. The measured temperature must exceed this set point for a time specified by temperature out-of-spec alarm delay before the alarm is triggered. | -40.0 to +20.0°C or disabled -40.0 to 68.0°F or disabled | 0.1°C 0.1°F | disabled |
**Temperature Out-of-Spec Alarm Delay**

| This parameter sets the amount of time the measured temperature must be continuously above or below the alarm set points before an out-of-spec alarm is triggered. If the measured temperature returns to values between the high and low alarm setpoint range, this time counter is reset. This parameter is especially useful for coolers where temperature-sensitive perishable products (e.g. ice cream) are stored and where the door may be open for extended periods during restocking. | 0.5 hour to 4 hours | 1 hour | 2 hours |
**Logging Interval**

| This parameter sets the time (in minutes) between logging of statistics. Statistics are uploaded to the Cloud via AoFrio's Track app for viewing historical data. More frequent logging of stats provides higher resolution data, however the upload of this additional data over Bluetooth will consume more energy and reduce the Monitor battery life. | 30 to 1440mins (24 hours) | 1 minute | 30mins |
**Temperature Calibration Offset**

| This parameter provides more accurate temperature readings inside the cooler. The offset amount is applied to the return air temperature parameter to compensate between the measured value and the actual return air temperature inside the cabinet used by the equipment control system. | -10.0 to +10.0 °C -18.0 to +18.0 °F | 0.1°C 0.1°F | 0.0°C 0.0°F |
Temperature measured + temperature calibration offset = temperature recorded.
- If offset is 3°C, and measured temperature is 2°C, the record will update to 5°C → 2 + 3 = 5
- If offset is -1°C and measured temperature is 2°C, the record will update to 1°C → 2 + (-1) = 1
