Enable a role in your organization to use Lab app

If you are the User Manager administrator, you can give access to someone in your organisation to use Lab app as follows.

  1. Open User Manager on your desktop. Go to the Home Screen and select the ROLES tab.
  2. Select a role from the from the left-hand dropdown menu and choose Lab app in the right-hand dropdown menu.
  3. To enable the role for the app you have selected:
    • Check the Lab app enabled box
    • Choose a number of Max activated devices for the maximum devices allowed access (We recommend no more than 3 to prevent code sharing between users).
  4. Under PERMISSIONS select an option for Set Permission Level:
    1. Sales – This is a restricted access setting that allows read rights only.
    2. Technical – This offers partial access with read and limited write permissions.
    3. Lab – This provides full access to parameter files, with full read and write permissions.
  5. Click SAVE to confirm the permissions for the role.
