Re-authenticating Field or Track App after changing phones

If you have replaced or upgraded your phone, you will need to authenticate the AoFrio Field app or Track app again on your new device.

Authentication is completed using a personal activation code provided by your company's User Manager or AoFrio administrator. Once authenticated, you can continue using the app as normal on your new device.

Before you start

Make sure that:

  • Your new phone has internet access.

  • You have installed the latest version of Field app or Track app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • You have access to a valid activation code.
  • Bluetooth and any other required permissions are enabled when prompted.

Re-authenticate the app on your new phone

  1. Install Field and/or Track app on your new phone.

  2. Open the app and enter your activation code when prompted.

  3. Create and confirm your 4-digit PIN.

  4. For Field app, complete any requested permissions. For Track app, allow location access and notifications when prompted.

  5. Wait for the nearby cooler list to load to confirm that authentication was successful.

Frequently asked questions

  • What if I don't have my activation code? If you no longer have your activation code, contact your company's User Manager or AoFrio support team and request a new activation code. The app cannot be authenticated on a new phone without a valid activation code.

  • Will I lose data when changing phones? Any information stored only on your old device may not automatically transfer to your new phone. If possible, allow the old phone to connect to the internet before retiring it so any pending uploads can be synchronized with AoFrio Cloud. For Field app, the Settings screen displays the number of records waiting in the local cache to be uploaded.

  • What if the activation code does not work?

    • Confirm that the code has been entered exactly as provided.

    • Check that your phone has an internet connection.

    • Contact your User Manager if the code has expired or has already been used on another device.
