[SCS Controller](https://support.aofrio.com/mounting-commissioning-hardware?hsLang=en#scs-controller) October 19, 2026 # Startup sequence for the SCS 500 & 600 Controller ## The start-up sequence lets you quickly confirm the Controller’s firmware version, outputs and current temperature before normal operation begins. When you turn on or power cycle the SCS 500 and 600 Controller it initiates a start-up sequence with the following information on the LED display:   1. **SCS** 2. **Current Firmware Version:** This is a 6-digit number. The first 3 digits are displayed for 2 seconds, then the remaining 3 digits for 2 seconds. 3. **Outputs:** The Controller cycles through the outputs as it self-tests them – i.e. “CoP”, “FAn”, “LIt”. 4. **Current temperature**.
