Get started with Lab app

About downloading the Lab application and connecting to AoFrio hardware.

Before you begin

Download the Lab application to your desktop.

Also, make sure you have:
  • A Blue-Giga USB dongle to support BT-LE or a PC with Windows 10+ with integrated BLE interface.
  • Adobe Air for Windows.
  • Bluetooth enabled on your desktop.
  • An activation code linked to a role with access to the Lab application.

Scan nearby devices

  1. Open the Lab application on your desktop and click on CONNECT.
  2. In the cooler scan list, click on the device you want to connect to and then click CONNECT.

NOTE: If you cannot see the device number you want to update in the list, click REFRESH to scan again. 


Troubleshooting

Problem Possible solution
The Lab app won't open after downloading. The Lab application may not have been activated in the database via the User Manager software. Contact your administrator to activate it with User Manager.
You have scanned multiple times and the SCS controller or monitor you want to connect to still does not appear.

Try turning your computer off and on again to restart it.

If this does not work, the Lab application may not have been activated in the database via the User Manager software. Contact your administrator to activate it with User Manager.
