Display parameters for the SCS Controller

The Display parameters configure what you can see on the front display panel of the SCS Controller during various control modes and conditions.

Temperature Display Units
This setting selects the temperature scale (Fahrenheit or Celsius) displayed on the LCD. The selection automatically converts all temperature displays, from all menus, into the selected scale.

User Set Point Keypad Lock ^
This setting locks the front keypad to prevent use by unauthorised personnel. There are three settings:

  • Unlocked = Allows access to setpoint, toggling of lights, initiating standby and initiating defrost, password entry.
  • Setpoint Locked = Blocks access to setpoint temperature.
  • Fully Locked* = Blocks access to setpoint, toggling of lights, initiating standby and initiating defrost

Maximum Displayable Temperature ^

The maximum temperature that will be displayed. Temperatures above this amount will be displayed as “-“.

Minimum Displayable Temperature 
The minimum temperature that will be displayed by the unit. Temperatures below this amount will be displayed as “--“.

Temperature Display Filter ^
The minimum time between display changes of 0.1degC when the temperature is trending upwards. This prevents misleading temperature spikes being shown during door openings.
