How Sensor and Gateway connectivity works together in the Food Retail app
The Food Retail app uses wireless sensors and a gateway to collect temperature data and send it to the AoFrio's iQ platform.
The Gateway acts as a communication hub between the sensors and the iQ platform in the cloud.
Multiple sensors per gateway
A single LoRaWAN gateway can receive data from multiple sensors simultaneously. This allows multiple refrigeration cabinets, freezers, or monitored areas to be covered using a single gateway installation.
Data flow
The typical data flow is:

Sensor measures temperature.

Sensor transmits data to the gateway.

Gateway forwards data to the Food Retail part of the iQ platform.

Users view data, alarms, and notifications within the Food Retail app.
