Certain power saving modes can limit the operation of Track app in some Android devices.
While it depends entirely on the make and model of your Android device, certain power saving modes can disable functions within Track app that automatically connect to coolers and upload data.
If you are using an Android device and have chosen to always allow automatic connection to coolers, then we recommend taking the following steps to check your device is fully functional while using the Track app.
- Open Track app and tap on the Settings function. Confirm you can see the SCS Connect Track screen.
- Tap Battery and check the Battery optimisation status. If it is "Not optimised" then you don't need to make any changes.
- If the Battery optimisation status is "Optimised" then we recommend that you change this as prevents full Track app functionality. Tap Battery to open the status editor and tap the Don't optmise option. (See picture on right).
