Remote management in iQ
iQ connects your coolers to the cloud, allowing you to monitor performance and take action using remote features without visiting the site. This reduces response time, improves control, and helps teams manage large fleets more efficiently.
What remote management includes
iQ currently supports the following remote features:
-
Remote setpoint adjustment - Update temperature setpoints without visiting the cooler, helping maintain product quality and respond to changing conditions.
-
Remote disable - Turn off or restrict cooler operation when required, for example to prevent misuse or manage asset control.
Additional remote capabilities are being developed within the iQ platform for future release.
When remote management is useful
Remote actions are typically used when:
-
A temperature adjustment is needed but a site visit is not practical
-
A cooler requires immediate intervention to protect product quality
-
Teams want to resolve issues quickly without dispatching a technician
-
Asset control is required across a distributed fleet
Operational benefits
Using remote management can help teams:
-
Reduce service callouts by resolving simple issues remotely
-
Respond faster to alerts and changing conditions
-
Maintain consistency across multiple locations
-
Improve fleet visibility and control without increasing workload
How remote asset management can fit into your daily workflow
Remote management is most effective when used alongside the alerts, diagnostics, and monitoring tools made available in the iQ platform. Your fleet management team can use this platform to identify an issue, assess it remotely, and decide whether action can be taken immediately or if it needs a site visit.
