Key phases for installing IoT hardware in the field

1. Read all safety warnings in the manuals and confirm you are authorized to install this AoFrio hardware and are appropriately trained.
2. Install and sign in to AoFrio's Field app (and any other required AoFrio apps such as Track) using your organisation’s activation code.
3. Confirm your user role has permission to configure devices and manage cooler associations in AoFrio’s cloud tools.
4. Use Field to connect to the device (NFC, Bluetooth or QR scan, depending on product) and complete activation and ownership / pairing settings.
5. Mount the device on or in the cooler and complete all wiring or power connections according to the product‑specific manual.
6. Power up the device and confirm LED and in‑app status show that local and network connections are established.
7. If required, pair the device with other AoFrio hardware (for example SCS-to-Gateway or SCS/Monitor-to-Network Pro) and verify pairing in Field app.
8. Confirm that data is uploading to AoFrio cloud reporting tools (such as Track or your reporting portal) from a remote location.

While there are certain differences between our hardware, the following phases are common to Monitor, SCS Controllers, Gateway and Network Pro (Multi and ONE) when retrofitting or installing these into coolers already deployed in the field.
