Field app - v5.31 [Android & iOS]

New Features 

• Support for configuring Variable Speed Compressor functionality from 4024 firmware onwards
  • SCS Controllers with FW-4024 onwards support frequency-based speed configuration for supported Variable Speed Compressors (VSC). Sensor data is also used by the SCS Controller to make precise adjustments to compressor speed, optimizing energy efficiency and performance based on varying operational requirements. Read more
  • The new parameters can be found under Edit parameters > Hardware Set-up menu

Improvements

• Parameter range change for Defrost Safety Termination Temperature from 0-80 degrees to 0-110 degrees.
• General bug fixes.

New features

• ‘Scan’ button has been replaced with ‘Connect Now’
  
  • When pressed this will ignore the last time data was downloaded from all controllers and will connect to all SCS devices within range
  • If the last download complete datetime is available it will download only the most recent data
• Upload/download colours updated
  • Download is green. Upload is Blue. Errors are red.
• Other bug fixes and performance improvements

New features

• Support for multiple activation codes
  • Additional activation codes can be added from the settings menu for tracking data from multiple databases.
  • This makes it easier for customers who work with trusted third-party service companies to have their coolers tracked reliably and to have their data kept up-to-date and secure.
  • For companies who have service contracts with several clients, secure and efficient tracking and data collection is now far easier.
  • AoFrio customers are expected to manage activation codes and manage relationships with external service providers responsibly in accordance with their own internal policies.
  • Please contact your Customer Manager for more information, and how to enable this feature for your business.
• Pause Tracking
  • Users can pause tracking for one hour from the settings menu. This can be beneficial if users need to connect to controllers via the Field app.
• Show Asset Display Name
  • A preferred name for your asset can be set via Report app, and now this name is also displayed in the Track app.
• General bug fixes and performance improvements

This release supports the recent release of 4024 firmware for three new key features:

• Energy Efficiency and Variable Speed Compressor (VSC)
  • Sensor data is used by the SCS Controller to make precise adjustments to compressor speed, optimizing energy efficiency and performance based on varying operational requirements.

  • 4024 adds basic support for using SCS as a controller for thermostatic heating applications.
