What is a "pull-down"?
A "pulldown" or "pull-down" is a commercial refrigeration term that means cooling something down quickly.
This is the process of lowering the temperature of a space (eg. cooler) or product (such as canned soda or bottled beer) that has warmed up, bringing it back to the cold level it’s supposed to be at.
This usually happens when new warm or room temperature items are added, or after a break in cooling (such as a holiday closedown). A "pull-down" normally takes a set amount of time and power to complete.
